So You Want To Play The Guitar
Are you jealous of people who can not only play the guitar but appear to really know their way around the instrument too? This day and age of the internet has brought us really easy ways to learn anything including learning the guitar. These days, it wouldn't be hard at all for anyone to pick up a guitar, choose a song to learn the chords to and search online on how to play these chords. These are some ways I've actually done online and more often than not I would claim that I can play the guitar.
But if I could be honest in my assessment, this isn't really "real playing". Real playing goes beyond this mimicking; it means being able to recognize basic chord progressions, at least, or how and which chords go together and how and which do not. This mock playing perfectly fits this description, "playing around with a guitar". If you've done this and you find yourself longing to know more about playing the guitar still, then getting a good program is the most logical next step.
Learn and Master Guitar by Steve Krenz is one of the more celebrated programs in its category. This program covers practically everything that a person who truly knows how to play the guitar should know including techniques and music theory, among others. Despite its price, it is the perfect program for beginners. It can seamlessly prime anyone from beginner to advanced and then to expert level and all the while promoting practice as the best key. Serious learners who are truly passionate about this newfound love can truly find an excellent training in the program and this completely justifies it's hefty price tag. Find out why I'm all praises with this by reading Learn and Master Guitar Reviews.
There is one important tip you need to learn if you're just starting to learn the guitar. Programs, no matter how award-winning (which is what Steve Krenz's program is, by the way) can only do so much. In order to be a good, let alone a great, guitar player, you need to include in the equation hard work and perseverance. Dedication to consistent and constant practice is the product of perseverance; in turn, perseverance is fuelled by passion and the unflinching desire to learn.
One of the other issues you'll ran into with learning the guitar is the pain that accompanies your training and you will never be exempted from this . You will literally feel pain from the tips of fingers to your knuckles, neck, shoulders and back. These are all normal but you can lessen them if you stretch before you start and take breaks every 30 to 45 minutes or even an hour. One pain that can be quite hard to deal with is that which you'll get in your fingertips (blisters) from holding the chord for too long because there's no stretching that part of the body. The only way around this is to allow calluses to build up so it would no longer hurt when you play in the future.
