To help you get more traffic to your blog and keep up with the latest trends, you should focus some of your attention on submitting your post and blog links to social bookmarking sites. Sites such as Digg, StumbleUpon, Reddit, are all great places where you can submit your blog links.
Try to make sure that you subtly integrate your ads into your articles. This will make your site, ten times better. You do not want your readers to feel like they are being bombarded by ads when they come to your site to read one of your many articles.
Get to know your blog readers. When you produce pod casts for your blog, your readers will really come to feel that they know you well because they will know your voice and be able to tell what kind of personality you have. Establishing a relationship with these bloggers can also garner the ability to post links to your own blog on their pages as well.
If you want to succeed with blogging, you need to make sure that you know what you are doing. Take the time before you start your blog to do research, so that you can make sure to get out of it what you want. Read as much as you can on the subject, and be 100% certain that you have all the knowledge that you need.
Break up your paragraphs. There is a common misconception that long posts turn off viewers. This is only partially true. While being presented with a wall of text can be a turn-off, this can be easily remedied by proper line breaks. If your paragraphs are short, engaging, and easy-to-read, your readers will not mind a long post. In fact, many enjoy will enjoy it!
Keep your individual post focused on one point. Blog with the full knowledge that you will be making many subsequent posts and if you tell everything in the beginning you may not have anything left to say later! Think of your blogs as being the spokes in a wheel. By themselves they are important but as a wheel they are incredibly important.
